Western Digital unveils 1TB TiVo external drive

Western Digital Corp. today said that its TiVo-enabled My DVR Expander external hard drive is now available with a capacity of 1TB. The external drive can store up to 600 hours of standard-definition television or 140 hours of high-definition programs, the company said.

LG unveils energy efficient 22-inch Flatron LCD

LG has toiled into the night for months but it has now managed to make one of the most penguin-loving (read eco-friendly) widescreen LCDs ever, the Flatron W2252TE. The new 22-inch monitor is very energy efficient, consuming just 22 Watts, some 45% less than other similar products.The lower power requirements didn't cripple the W2252TE's specs though as it offers a maximum resolution of 1680x1050 pixels, a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, a brightness of 250cd/m2 and a response time of 2 ms.

So, what's with the new iPhone 3G?Well, it's pretty much the same iPhone as before -- except now it's down to $200, and has way faster 3G data, A-GPS (which is even better than regular GPS), as well as a flush headphone jack (which is great for anyone who doesn't want to use Apple's bundled headphones).
